No Compromise on Pipe Rehabilitation
Traditional methods of drainage pipe replacement under roads or properties would normally involve huge costs, have higher risk to the safety of the teams and cause unnecessary disruption to the public and home owners.
Our unique methods of rehabilitation can dramatically reduce costs and risk in a safe controlled manner.
Drainforce are fully WRC approved to supply and install premium liners ranging in diameters from 200mm to 2000mm. We also offer full consultancy and design for every job.
All of our liners come with a 70 year guarantee
Drainforce successfully install a 24mm thick liner in a brick egg sewer in Cardiff for the first time in the UK.
Due to the location of the pipe being underneath one of the busiest roads in Wales a solution was required to repair the sewer in the shortest possible time.
UV lining was presented as a solution and due to the benefits was quickly chosen as the preferred option
The scheme was delivered three weeks ahead of the imposed deadline and within budget.
Hydro Cutting
Drainforce were approached to look at options of cutting a 16mm thick steel pile from a brick egg sewer 9m beneath a railway line in Newport. CCTV confirmed that a 800mm diameter steel pipe had been driven through the brick sewer. After looking at the options it was decided that the best way to cut this steel was to utilise ultra high pressure water jetting combined with an abrasive medium. Drainforce adapted their existing robots to carry the UHPWJ head through the pipe and mock trials confirmed that the operator was able to get the robot to the pile and cut it successfully.
