Innovation Through Collaboration
Our Innovation teams will work with you to develop clear problem statements and prioritise these against your business objectives.
Where a new solution is needed, our Engineers and Data Scientists will work with your Subject Matter Experts as an integrated team, to develop a Proof of Value prototype for evaluation.
Where successful, we will then work together to roll out the solution so that it can very quickly begin to deliver value against your ODI targets. In parallel, we will develop the prototype into a sustainable product which can be fully supported in the long term.
Data Analytics
For over 40 years Ovarro has been the UK water industry leader in software and hardware for gathering and processing real-time data. With recent acquisitions and ongoing internal investment we can now offer the capability to apply advanced Data Analytics and Machine Learning to extract tangible value from these data sources in the form of improved asset reliability, ODI performance and operational efficiency.
An example of this is Datective Flowsure, an Ovarro solution which Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has adopted and will be implemented within 2020 to support ODI targets on Customer Minutes Lost and Leakage. Subject to confidentiality constraints, visitors to our Teams Meeting Room will be able to see a demonstration of the DCWW FlowSure system.
Other areas where we are currently applying our Analytics expertise include Alarm Management, Pollution Event and Leakage Prioritisation. Again, further details can be provided in our Teams Meeting Room.
Innovation in Leak Detection
Our ground-breaking leak detection technology, with upwards of 80% conversion rate, provides reliable, rapid identification of leaks by monitoring flow and acoustic noise. Our products are designed for local and remote leak detection and are seen by our customers as essential tools to meet their ambitious AMP7 leakage targets.
We have supported water companies across the world, but with a strong presence in the UK – from protecting approximately 5 million people with flood risk telemetry systems for The Environment Agency, to delivering Malaysia’s largest water network support system.
