Clean Water

Monica

University of Sheffield - USP

I am an urban planner with a background in architecture and development studies. With the support of various grants, my work has taken place at the meeting point of pioneering practice and research within local, national and international institutions. First, a Santander Bank scholarship enabled the development of my dissertation 'Learning from recycling' in Mexico, where I also worked as a research assistant with the City University Programme. Later, I worked with AECID-Bolivia where I gained hands-on experience in project management. Whilst there, I approached the UCB, where I worked as lecturer. In 2019, I undertook an internship at the UN-Habitat LAB. Now, I am developing my PhD at UoS.
